SRM University Haryana, Sonepat is a full-fledged State Private University established under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006 as amended by Act No.8 of 2013 and is located at Rajiv Gandhi Education City, P.S. Rai (Post Office), Sonepat - 131029 (Haryana). The University is a part of the SRM Group of Institutions which has been running three Universities SRM University Chennai, SRM University Haryana and SRM University, Sikkim with 20 prestigious Institutions in the multiple streams of Medical, Engineering, Management, Law and Humanities all over India.

SRMHCAT-2015
It is an All India level Entrance Examination for Admission in to first year of all the Programmes being offered by the University. SRMHCAT-2015 a Nationwide Entrance Examination would be held through online as well as offline mode, candidates can choose their exam mode as per their preference and convenience. Successful candidate of SRMJEEE will also be eligible for admission in to SRM University Haryana subject to the condition that the Haryana Domicile Scholarship is restricted to SRMHCAT applicants alone.

Candidate can purchase the application form for SRMHCAT-2015 from the following Approved sale centers by making a payment of Rs. 950/- (Rs. Nine hundred and fifty only) either as cash or as Demand Draft in favour of SRMIST payable at New Delhi.

Question Paper of Entrance Examination will have 100 questions. The correct answer for each question will carry 3 Marks. There is no negative marking.
- Offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination).

- Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board. The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in the examination.

He / she must have studied two papers from amongst Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics & Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate. -
BBA.LL.B (Int) / B.A.LL.B. (Int) / B. Lib.I.Sc / BBA-MBA (Int) -
Candidate must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared for 12th Standard in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in the examination. -
LL.B., M.A (English), M.A (Economics), M.Lib.I.Sc and MBA -
Candidate must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates applying for three year LLB Programme must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
M.Sc. Microbiology (Pharmaceutical) -
Candidate must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any field of Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biology / Biotechnology / and Medical Laboratory Technology from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) -
Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology) or MCA and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
M.Tech (ME / Production Engineering) -
Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engg. / Production Engg. / Automobile Engg. / Industrial Engg. / Aeronautical Engg. and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
M.Tech (ECE / Microelectronics)** -
Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Physics with specialization in electronics) and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
M.Tech. (CE / Structural Engineering)** -
Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Technology and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
M.Tech. Biotechnology (Pharmaceutical / Industrial)** -
Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology / B.Pharmacy / M.Sc Biosciences / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Bioinformatics / Life Sciences and must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who have appeared in final year qualifying examination in 2015 and awaiting result can also appear in this examination. -
Ph.D. -
Candidate must have passed Post graduation in the relevant discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. However an applicant with M.Phil. / CSIR - UGC / JRF / NET cleared in the relevant subject is exempted from Entrance test.
